These postmortem images of a Black-chinned Hummingbird wing shows a few distinct diagnostics.
P10 is wide, curved, and with a very rounded end.
The shape of the primary ends and how the rachis splits the feather combine to be unique to this species.
Note that each primary from P10 to P1 become progressively more narrow.
The tail is slightly longer than the tips of the wings.
